Raymond Limited has recently appointed Sanjay Behl as the CEO for the lifestyle business, one of the core business of the organisation. Behl who comes from Reliance ADA, the DTH business, he brings with him a wide experience across diverse industries including consumer goods and services.
“Rapid change in consumer aspirations coupled with growing discretionary spend on lifestyle goods poses a tremendous opportunity for the market leading and highly respectable brand portfolio at Raymond, both in ‘Ready-to-Stitch’ textile fabric and ‘Ready-to-Wear’ branded apparel segments,” says Behl.
Behl spend eight years at Reliance ADA Group and held the position of the Group Head of Brand and Marketing, CEO of Reliance DTH. He was also National Head for Sales and Distribution at Reliance Communications. Having started his career with Hindustan Unilever, he has also worked with Nokia at Asia-pacific and Global levels.
An engineer from IIT BHU (Varanasi) and an MBA from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai, Behl is an avid enthusiast of technology and gadgets, a die-hard cricket aficionado and enjoys painting in his leisure time.
