One of India’s largest media conglomerate, Reliance Retail and the technology major, Samsung have together signed a pact to offer after sales services. With this partnership Reliance will manage Samsung’s after sales services.

The deal which has been signed between Samsung and Reliance resQ has started with the launch of pilot services in Pune.
The Anita Dongre designer brand, AND Designs, aims to expand its presence globally by offloading 33 per cent stake to an international PE investor.
The brand is in talks with global PE fund company which will help the brand to get hold of the bandwidth to let the brand explore new international market. The stake sale will get the company an investment of Rs 100 crore.
General Atlantic is also in the race to invest in the company.
Talking about international retail plans, the brand wants to starts by expanding into GCC and South Eastern Nations. Though the brand already has a store in Mauritius, in next 2-3 years the aim is to have 15 stores in new markets including GCC nations, UK and US.
Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) ropes in Duncan Lawley as CEO. Lawley has previously worked at Aer Rianta International’s joint venture in Cyprus, where he was overseeing retail operations was General Manager, overseeing retail operations at both Larnaka and Paphos Airports.
He also has worked with WHSmith and served as Managing Director of The Nuance Group’s, Scandinavian operations.
Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd, has inked a licensing agreement with Iconix India to launch Umbro. The Manchester-original is a football brand specialising in sportswear and sports tailoring and will be retailed through exclusive brand outlets and its various retail formats including Central and Planet Sports.

The European sanitaryware and tableware brand, Villeroy & Boch has entered into a joint venture with India’s leading fashion and luxury conglomerate, Genesis Luxury Fashion Pvt Ltd. Under the agreement, Genesis will be exclusively marketing, distributing and selling the tableware range of the European brand. Nearly two digit million investment will be made in the venture.
