The hybrid grocery e-retailer, Aaramshop goes online in Pakistan. The site is still on Beta phase which had gone online last week.
Along with the site, Aaramshop has also created 23 physical stores (Aaramshops) in Karachi and aims to take the number to nearly 500 within the city. The company will later expand to cities including Islamabad and Lahore. Reaching to consumers with FMCG and CPG products, the retailer will be following the same model as in India.
The site currently showcases 1600 products including edible oils, oral care, biscuits, household & cleaning, Milk products, etc.
Additionally, the Indian site has also been recently revamped.
The adventure sport apparel and footwear brand Woodland has unveiled its plans to expand it presence across India by adding stores and new product categories. With these plans the retailer aims a turnover of Rs 1000 crore by FY’14 end.
Currently, the retailer has 400 company owned and presence across 4000 multi brand outlets. The aim will be open 60-70 stores this year, with a strong focus on smaller cities and towns.
Viviana Mall recently launched in Thane has announced the opening of the second phase of the mall.
