With this Titan becomes first Indian specialty retailer to reach the number in seven varied formats. With a retail footprint across 177 cities, 26 states, 3 Union Territories and a total retail area of 1395712 sq ft, Titan Company has stores for Watches under World of Titan, Helios and Fastrack; Jewellery under retail brands Tanishq, Zoya, GoldPlus and Eye Plus for multibrand eyewear.

Arvind Lifestyle Brands has entered a partnership with India’s leading retail chain, Shoppers Stop to setup and launch shop-in-shop of Next. The SIS of the British brand will be opened at Shoppers Stop’s Juhu store and will be spread across 600 sq ft.
The shop-in-shop will retail apparels for kids from the age of 2 to 12 years. The range will also have hosiery, socks, shoes and accessories.
The brand will be an addition to Shoppers Stop portfolio and will bring in the value of being aspirational brand.
J Suresh, MD & CEO, Arvind Lifestyle Brands said, “For the first time in India we are bringing speciality retail inside a department store. Next provides Shoppers Stop consumers best of British kids fashion wear offering. On the other hand, Next can take advantage of the ready consumer base of Shoppers Stop. We expect this to be a win-win collaboration between speciality retailers and department stores.”
The premium and luxury decor and jewellery brand, Kinerhs Collection, opens it flagship store in Chennai.
Spread across 1000 sq ft, the store boasts of the latest and exquisite collection by the brand from product categories including artifacts, decorative and accessories. With over 300 products offers a wide range of interior and outdoor products.
Shrenik Mehta Director Kinerhs collection says, “Our new store will offer products in silver and gold where customers will be able to decorate an entire home or just pick up an accent piece to instantly update their spaces.”

Titan Industries has been upbeat about expanding the product umbrella under Fastrack brand. Knowing that the brand is specifically aimed at youth, it has now expanded its product offerings to helmets.
The majority of Indian youth drives two wheelers and that’s exactly the population that the brand is targeting.
Fastrack range of helmets will boast of 24 different variants for guys and girls in a plethora of colours and vibrant graphics. All these helmets have been ISI approved.
Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director, Titan Company Limited said, “India has one of the highest number of 2-wheelers in the world. With unorganized players currently driving the helmet business, the category has a large potential in the market. The organized helmet market is estimated at approximately Rs. 400 Cr, accounting for 45% of the retail market. Using our in-house design and marketing expertise and wide retail footprint we took a step to enter the helmets sector. The category is currently largely unorganized and under-served and with our superior quality product, we aim to ensure safety and comfort for two-wheeler riders.”
The US lifestyle brand, Cherokee, has entered a licensing deal with Mahindra Retail. Under the deal, the US player will be retailing its licensed Liz Lange Maternity range through Mahindra’s Mom & Me stores, specialty stores for maternity and kids.
The Liz range will be sold through Mom & Me brick and mortar stores and also online.

The multi-brand lifestyle online retailer, Koovs, has announced its plans to go public next year and get listed on the Aim, a sub-market of London Stock Exchange.
Koovs had recently brought on-board Asos ex-chairman Lord Waheed Alli and Robert Bready as Chairman and Creative & Retail Director, respectively.
Through the listing, Anant Nahata, the founder of Koovs, plans to raise GBP 22 million for the company. Nahata will be floating 35 per cent shares in the market and the rest will be divided among Nahata, Lord Alli and other management.
The site which started business as a deal site, in 2012 became a full-fledged online retail store, selling a wide array of lifestyle brands focused on women. Though the company soon plans to expand offerings to menswear as well.
