L’oreal acquires Cheryl’s Cosmeceuticals; aims at cities beyond metros

One of India‘s leading names in cosmetics and wellness, L’oreal, expands its portfolio as it buysout Cheryl’s Cosmeceuticals. The deal has been signed for an undisclosed amount.

Cheryl’s which is was founded by Oscar and Cheryl Pereira in 1986, has been known across industry for wellness and skincare treatment.

The acquisition will help the French brand expand its reach through salons spread across semi-urban cities and rural markets with a lowered priced products. These products are priced between Rs 500 – Rs 2,000.
