McDonald’s SW aims 250 store count by FY15

Hate it (for all the calories) or lovin’ it (for a plenty of reasons), its time for some good news. McDonald’s, in South West region, will expand its presence as it plans to take its store count to 250 by FY2015. The QSR chain, which introduced us to the concept of burger and cold drinks, currently has 161 (year ended March 31, 2013) restaurants.

With the current expansion plan, McDonald’s promoted by Hardcastle Restaurants in South West, aims to have nearly 12,500 employees by FY 15. It already has hired over 150 trainee managers and trainee floor managers at the restaurant level.

McDonald’s currently has 313 restaurants in India of which 152 are located in North and East.
